Amnesty International’s office in Berlin held an action in support of a campaign for the abolition of the death penalty in Belarus.
The special postcards signed by Berlin residents are expected to be sent to President Lukashenka’s administration.
Among the violations, the committee found a violation of the right to a fair trial, noted that no one can be arbitrarily deprived of life, and demanded that the Belarusian authorities pay appropriate compensation to the mothers of the punished.
Only the effective part was announced at the trial, since part of the trial was held in closed session.
