Discussion on death penalty held in Babruisk
Babruisk human rights defenders discussed the topic of the death penalty together with students of language courses. The meeting was held on October 10 within the framework of the Week against the Death Penalty in Belarus.
Babruisk citizens viewed the video film “Signature” which calls on the people not to be indifferent to the problem of the death penalty. After the discussion, there was held a topical quiz and the winners were given awards. All participants of the discussion also received CDs “Last Dawn” and informational booklets of the campaign “Human Rights Defenders against the Death Penalty in Belarus”.
