Additional information on Kavaliou's case submitted to UN
Additional information concerning the case of death
convict Uladzislau Kavaliou was submitted to the UN Human Rights Committee by
his mother and sister, Liubou Kavaliova and Tatsiana Kaziar.
The information concerns the official date of the execution and the
accompanying circumstances which can become a subject of additional
consideration. According to lawyer and human rights defender Raman Kisliak,
Liubou Kavaliova was unable to find about his location during a week after he
had been denied pardon by Lukashenka.
As it was found later, Uladzislau Kavaliou was executed by shooting on 15
March, the day after he was denied pardon.
