Human rights defender Raman Kisliak denied information on pardoned death convicts
The letter sent by the Department of Citizenship and Pardon of the Presidential Administration and signed by its acting head Maltsau says that such information is limited in distribution, so it cannot be provided.
The human rights defender intends to apply to the Department, demanding to remove the restrictive stamp for official use and publish the requested information. Since, according to the human rights activist, there is no reason to hide this information from human rights defenders and the public.
On February 17 Raman Kisliak filed a written request to Aliaksandr Lukashenka, asking for information on the number of death convicts he pardoned between 1994 and 2012.
