Violation of human rights is always based on the actions or omissions of the authorities. The same concerns the restoration of justice – it is also possible only through the efforts of the state. In other words, if a person is sentenced to death by the state, only the state can cancel this decision – either on it's own political will or under pressure from human rights defenders and the international community.

Struggling for decisions that are aimed at the protection of human rights is our task in work with various government bodies (the House of Representatives, Presidential Administration, Ministry of Interior, the courts and other bodies).

To date, our work with the state bodies is carried out in two directions:

- defense of those who have been sentenced to death;

- presenting arguments and exchange of information with government agencies on the issue of the death penalty.
